Vendor Falsely Claiming Affiliation: TransportME

Williston Public School District #1 was notified by the City of Williston of a vendor falsely claiming to be officially affiliated with Williston Public School District #1. The company is called “TransportME” and has a web address of tranxportme[.]com and an email address of info[@]

This company is in no way affiliated with Williston Public School District #1. This company does not possess a contract with District #1 to provide transportation services. In addition, the city auditor’s office has made it clear this company has not completed and filed the necessary application papers to operate as a private vendor for transportation services.

On their website, they have a forms titled “Williston School Bus Registration Form” and “Agreement for Transportation School Year…”; neither of these documents are approved by Williston Public School District #1.

We strongly encourage parents/guardians to do their homework before completing any forms, signing any agreements, or giving any money to outside companies claiming to be affiliated with Williston Public School District #1, including TransportME.

It comes down to enrollment.Williston Public School District No. 1 had about 3,000 students in 2014, when the last bond referendum passed. That paid for the new high school, which opened in fall 2016.
