As a federal- and state-funded public education institution, there are certain pieces of information Williston Public School District #1 is required to provide to the public. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) afford parents and students who are 18 years of age or older ("eligible students") certain rights with respect to the student's education records. This document defines those rights.

Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy
Williston Public School District #1 is committed to maintaining a learning and working environment free from discrimination and harassment in all employment and educational programs, activities, and facilities. These documents outline our Nondiscrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy and include a letter from Superintendent Campbell affirming our commitment to these policies.

This report designed by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction information such as test scores, average daily attendance, graduation rate, and other statistical information for Williston Public School District #1 and compares it to other school districts across the state.

Notice of Directory Information
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a Federal law, requires that Williston Public School District #1 with certain exceptions, obtain your written consent prior to the disclosure of personally identifiable information from your child's education records. However, Williston Public School District #1 may disclose appropriately designated "directory information" without written consent, unless you have advised the District to the contrary in accordance with district procedures. School Choice Report
During District #1's duration in program improvement, Williston Public School District #1 must offer parents "school choice," which means that parents may transfer their students to other schools in the district that have met AYP status.

Student Bullying Report Form
Please fill out this form to report a bullying situation at any of our Williston Public School District #1 schools. You may choose to include your name at the bottom of the form or submit it anonymously. Please note that the district's ability to investigate an anonymous complaint may be limited and the district prohibits retaliation against anyone who files a bullying report.

Title Programs Dispute Resolution Procedure
Any individual who believes that the Williston Public School District #1 has violated the regulations or law governing a Title program should submit a complaint to the building principal at PO Box 1407, Williston; 572-1580. The principal shall investigate the complaint and provide the individual with a written response within 30 days. This provides additional information on that complaint and our resolution procedure.
