Williston Basin High School Girls Golf Team at a Tournament

Coyote girls have their first tournament of the season in the books. As a team the girls shot 381 which was good enough for 5th out of 11 teams.

*Carrie Carmichael had a great start with consistent and solid ball striking. She shot a 72 and ran away with first. 2nd place was 5 shots behind her!

Also competing today for the coyotes varsity team was

*Tegan Graham who found her stride on the back 9 shooting a 42 giving her a total of 93.

*Scout Graham fought hard today and got her first tournament Birdi. Nothing but up from here for her. She ended with a 105

*Berkeley Poeckes played in her first varsity tournament and it won't be her last! She also found her stride on the back 9 shooting at one point 5 on five straight holes. She ended up with a 111.

* Dani Tinlenberg is a first yr player and only in 8th grade. This was her first tournament and she showed up and played hard. We are proud of the way she played and that she joined this great group of girls. She ended up with a 142.

The girls have a quick turnaround and head to Jamestown on Sunday to play in the East West Classic Monday and Tuesday.
