Nick Winton, son of Sir Nicholas Winton, will be in Williston on Sunday, November 6th to share his father’s amazing Holocaust story with our community. Sir Nicholas Winton is a British humanitarian credited with organizing a Kindertransport of 669 mostly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia on the eve of World War II. What made 29-year-old Nicky give up his skiing holiday to rescue these children from the Nazis and how did he do it? Winton’s son Nick will tell his father’s inspiring story about the life-changing events that transformed the destiny of so many. Some of you may be familiar with the children’s book Nicky & Vera that tells this story. Please spread the word of this event. More publicity is coming out soon. This event is set for Sunday, November 6th at 4pm at Williston High School in the theater and open to the public. Please reach out if you have any questions. Kari Hall
