Orange shape on white background with WBSD7 logo. Words: No School

Good evening WBSD7:

The weather forecast indicates we will receive 12 inches of snow or more in the next 24 hours.  Additionally, road conditions have deteriorated and are extremely unsafe.  I have made the decision to continue with asynchronous virtual learning tomorrow, Wednesday, December 14th.  What this means is there will be no in-person school for students and staff (other than maintenance personnel responsible for snow removal).  Teachers will utilize either Google Classroom or ParentSquare to communicate student assignments and expectations for Wednesday, December 14th.  I will continue to monitor this weather system as it moves through our community, and will make decisions on a day-to-day basis.

All practices and games, and other school related activities have been canceled for Wednesday, December 14th.

Staff, your administration will be communicating with you separately.

Parents, your school administration and teachers will be communicating separately with you via ParentSquare.

We will reassess the situation tomorrow evening.

There are more details in your email, and on our District Website.

Stay safe,

Dr. Faidley
